| There are certain things you SHOULD know before you go to a Pow Wow, if this is your first time.
* Ask permission before you shoot camera or use video equipment.
* Many dancers do not wish to be photographed or video taped. Please ask permission.
* Please listen to the MC when he announces that certain dances and ceremonies ARE NOT to be photographed or video taped
* Please listen to the MC when he announces that you should stand and take off your hats (unless you have an eagle feather in your hat). This could be for the Grand Entry, for a Prayer, or for a special ceremony such as picking up an Eagle Feather.
* You may join in the Intertribal Dances (Don't worry - just try! :)
* This is an Alcohol and Drug Free Event
Otherwise, just be respectful and enjoy yourself. It is a celebration.
