At the end of this course the student will be able to construct a complete web site and a simple ecommerce site. Along with the design the student will also learn techniques to make the web site successful. They will also have the ability too diagnose and rewrite faulty web pages. The student will also be able to use Java Scripts, Animated Gif's and Real Audio to make Dynamic Web sites. The course will also focus on using imaging software and photo applications to enable good use and optimization of illustrations.

Graduating students will be qualified to work as professionals in the Web Design industry. They will qualify for membership in the HTML Writers Guild.

The three pre-requisites for taking this course are:

1. Some computer literacy - ( ability to use a text editor , save work , connect to the internet etc. )
2. English skills - ( This is a writing course after all )
3. Willingness to put in a minimum of 40 hours a week on this course
