Salish Nation of Vancouver Island
| The Salish nation is the largest of
the three nations of Vancouver Island. Their territory stretches through most
of southern BC and into Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana . These pages will
present material and news from the Coast Salish bands on Vancouver Island.
Hopefully we can include news and events from the Songhees, Tsartlip, Cowichan,
Chemainus and other island bands. We are building for the future on the heritage
of our past. This page will try and cover some of the many Native events hosted
by the Salish nation in the Victoria area.
