Kwaikutl Nation of Vancouver Island

      The Kwakwakw'wakw ( also known as Kwaikutl ) people of the Island are famous for their carvings, and other art. Their totem poles and other work are in museums and private collections around the world. These pages will present material and news from the Nations on Vancouver Island. We are building for the future on the heritage of our past. Island Native will try and cover some of the many Native events that the Kwakwakw'wakw nation take part in on Vancouver Island.
