| There were over 85 drummers and dancers performing in front of the Royal BC Museum. They are the Terrace Nisga'a Dancers, creating a sea of red and white. In this photo one of the Chiefs has just finished speaking and is walking across the center of the circle. In the foreground you can see the two huge cedar box drums the Nisga'a use. The large boxes give a booming sound. The drummer plays it with his hand, bound for protection. |
